SPOILERS You need to sleep and be attacked by a Dark Brotherhood assassin. In the PC game there is no time limit on how many hours you have to sleep, but I remember reading somewhere that on the xbox ver. you had to sleep for so many hours. Since I don't know how many, just start out by sleeping at least 8 hours and increase it from there if you need to. After you are attacked by the assassin, report the attack to a guard ( a legion guard is better), he will send you to see Apelles Matius in Ebonheart. Speak to him about the attacks and he will send you to see Asciene Rane in the Grand Council Chamber in Ebonheart. Talk to her about Mournhold and she will teleport you there. If you are talking about becoming a werewolf in the Bloodmoon expansion, I only did it once, but if I remember right you have to kill a bunch of Skaal hunters and you have to kill to quench your thirst for blood. Like I said, I only did the werewolf thing once, so someone else may be able to give you more information. Good luck. |

Sleeping in any town should trigger an attack on you by an assassian from the Dark Brotherhood. I always have him attack when at Caius Cosade's house in Balmora. Kill him off quickly, and loot his body. It will be about the best newbie armor to be found. You will also need one of the DB masked helms or if you get lucky, a Carved Ebony Dart to show to Apelles in Ebonheart, but I am getting ahead of myself. After being attacked, talk to ANY guard about "Dark Brotherhood Attacks" and they will tell you to get a hold of Apelles, Mattius, a guard who recently came from Mournhold. He is in Ebonheart walking along the Battlements leading to teh Council Chambers building. After speaking with Apelles, he will tell you to talk to a Mage inside the Council building. I forget her name but she is in red robes just inside the front door to teh Council Chamber's building. Just talk to her about "Transport To mournhold", and she'll happily send you on your way. In Wereform, you have to feed or the Blood Lust will constantly damage your health. That means someone has to die. I usually fed on Beserkers, Fyrse Hags, or the oddball bandit. I never killed anyone with a name. ;o) |

It's kind of like black quilted leather looking. It is light armor and like I said, about the best that you can get at level 1 or 2. You'll be wearing it through level 15-18 or so unless you just go directly looking for Glass or something. The red one from the back cover of the box is the King's Guard armor. That is a cool looking set. I just wish that you could see the NPC's eyes through the slits in the helmet. That would be rightious. If you play your card's right, you might just get you a set of that purty red shiney stuff. ;o) |

The armor is the pic on this forum with the guy crouching down and holding a sword. He's got a full hood on, goggle looking things included. The pic is misleading as the armor is straight black, I think they were trying to show it with a red light, or whatever. This armor is soft and light. There is actual red armor tho, but as I was reading your question the DB pic was up, so I wanted to clarify so you won't be disappointed. As for werewolves, I cannot express how hard it is to do these quests for the first time as a werewolf. I promise you will be so much happier if you make a save before you choose and play thru as a human first. Seriously, being a werewolf is cool and so is getting visions from the god Hircine, but he really does give crap directions. Play thu as a human then you will know exactly where to go when you play thru as a wolf :) Also, the attacks vary a bit from person to person and game to game. I have my 2st char who was attacked all the time whenever she slept and I had plenty of DB armor to sell for cash, it was great! But this char only got attacked outside, never sleeping in a bed anywhere. I have another char that has only been attacked the once, in a bed. So... if you are not getting attacked and you know you should be, try sleeping somewhere else :) |

what level are you? If you are putting the GotY disk in the console with your Morrowind char then you just need to try sleeping in different places. Like I said earlier, the first time I got attacked everytime I slept outside in Solstheim but never inside anywhere. The next char I only got attacked the once and I think I was sleeping in the Mages Guild in Vivec. If you are well over level 7 try sleeping outside, in Vvardenfel and if that doesn't work, go to Solstheim. Good luck! |

I always get attacked in Caius Cosade's house. I get up on the bed and back into the corner facing the door. This helps to prevent hitting him in the crossfire. If you do accidentally hit Caius, go outside and wait for 4 days before going back in to see him. He'll have forgiven you, but he does take a disposition hit. Just do another job for him and he'll be all happy again. ;o) |

answered in your newer post. You have just been doing a side quest, not the Bloodmoon main quest. You need to start that questline at the fort. Talk to the boatman to get started, after you have the name of the captain, talk to the guards. Always talk to everyone you meet about everything they have in their convo options. And check your journal, doing this will help you lots :) |
