I think Elle said it's around midday, which means it points to Greatwood at about midnight. Then again I might be remembering entirely wrong. Anyway watch for it at important times like midday, midnight, daybreak, and nightfall. Chances are it's around one of those. It moves incrementally all the time in the same direction: Guild, Greatwood, Picnic Area, backwoods, B'stone... The only two that matter seem to be Bowerstone and Greatwood, but that's how it moves (clockwise). |

When it points to Bowerstone Sth at midnight,or 3AM, it's when you can open the taverns cellar door. I think when it points to Greatwood, it's when you can find and open a chest there. That would be 11AM( I think). |

yeah from what I've read that chest is tricky. don't you have to find the cellar door then warp to the guild then wait until the statue faces bowerstone then warp back open the chest and get out before the door closes on you......yeah I've never tried it (because I haven't had a chance to play the game yet) so I don't really know if it'll close on you or not. |

As long as you are there at the right time,( and the statue is pointing in the right direction ), you can open the cellar door. In Greatwood, there is a chest that only appears at a certain time. Hey, you should play this game platinum dragoon, you'd like it. |

I have the game.....I just need a computer that can run it. hopefully I'll get one this summer...the computer I have in my room is just too damn old. the stupid disk tray won't slide in or out anymore. so that's at least 4 games that I have that I can't play for quite a while now. |

What I did was invest in a good drive that did everything I wanted, then when I got the new computer, I got a basic disc drive in it and added my good one. It's worked out well, and I saved a few dollars doing it that way because the drive I wanted was on clearance. And of course, it meant I could use the old computer until I got the new one. The drives wear out anyway, so I keep two and use the cheap one most of the time. I don't know if it'll work that way for you but maybe it was worth throwing out there for your consideration. I don't know where you live, Dragoon, but if there's a place nearby, I recommend having a computer custom built in a reputable store in your town or nearby. When it's done, you pick it up in your car and take it home. If it needs work you load it into the backseat and take it to them. Plus you get to design it face-to-face with the builder and get the best machine for the money. (This one was $1200, but the comperable machine at Dell was $2300+). After dealing with Gateway and Alienware and my local company, I may never buy from a big company again. Hometown shopping ftw! Hope you get to play soon. |
